DeVoice allows users to upload audio or video files and use AI to separate vocals and background music. This service is provided:
- Free of charge for basic users with usage limits
- With premium functionality available through a pay-per-use credit system
The platform is intended for personal, educational, and creative use. Commercial usage is permitted under fair use and subject to content ownership compliance.
3. User Tiers and Limits
a. Free Users
- Free users are limited to 1 audio processing per day.
- Usage resets daily at midnight UTC.
- Abuse of the free tier (e.g., using bots, VPN switching to bypass limits) may result in a temporary or permanent ban.
b. Paid Users
- Paid users may purchase credits, where:
- 1 credit = 5 seconds of processing
- Partial usage is rounded up to the nearest 5 seconds
- Credits are non-refundable and tied to your browser or login session (if accounts are introduced in the future).
- Misuse or manipulation of the credit system may lead to account restrictions.
We reserve the right to modify pricing, limits, or tier features with advance notice.
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use DeVoice in accordance with all applicable laws and to refrain from any activity that:
- Violates copyright or intellectual property laws
- Involves uploading or processing copyrighted materials . You do not have permission to use
- Distributes offensive, illegal, or harmful content
- Exploits, overburdens, or disrupts our infrastructure (e.g., excessive automated requests)
- Attempts to reverse engineer or replicate DeVoice’s algorithms
You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including ensuring that you have the right to use and process it.
5. Copyright and Content Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you upload to DeVoice. We do not claim ownership of your media. However, by uploading files, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.
We do not store your files beyond the processing session. All uploaded files are automatically discarded as soon as you leave or refresh the page. We do not retain your data on our servers.
You agree not to use DeVoice to infringe on third-party copyrights. If you are unsure whether you have the legal right to process a file, we recommend seeking permission from the content owner.
6. Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms
7. Payment and Credits
Purchases of DeVoice credits are handled through secure third-party payment providers. By purchasing credits, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your chosen payment method
- Acknowledge that all purchases are final and non-refundable
- Understand that credits are consumed based on actual audio processing length, rounded up to 5-second increments
We reserve the right to modify credit pricing or offer limited-time promotions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
DeVoice is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees that:
- The service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
- The separation results will meet your expectations
- Files processed through DeVoice will be of professional or production-grade quality
While we strive for reliability, we are not liable for loss of data, service outages, or audio inaccuracies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeVoice, its team, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or files
- Inaccurate results
- Unauthorized use of your content
- Legal consequences from uploading copyrighted material
Your use of DeVoice is at your own risk.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DeVoice at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, our systems, or third parties.
11. Modifications to the Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the DeVoice platform at any time, with or without notice. This includes:
- Changing user limits or processing time
- Altering the pricing or credit system
- Adding or removing features
